Is there a central location that shows vacant positions in New York State agencies?

 The Governor's Office of Employee Relations maintains a web site called, JobWeb, which lists vacancies for many, but not all New York State agencies. Some agencies post vacancies directly on their own web sites and others post hard copies of vacancy announcements in their offices. The New York State Department of Civil Service's, web site, has considerable information about finding a job with New York State government. Keep in mind that this information generally covers Executive Branch employment only. For employment with a public authority, the New York State Legislature or the Office of Court Administration, you should contact the personnel offices in those agencies.
