How can I apply for a TAP grant?

 New York's Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) is the largest need-based state grant program in the United States. TAP awards are made on the basis of family income and other factors. To apply for a TAP grant, fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at the Higher Education Services Corporation (HESC) Web site. If you are a New York resident attending a New York school, you will automatically be applying for a TAP grant.
