 When it comes time to retire, is it necessary to go to STRS offices in Albany for an estimate and application?
 No. You can request the information by calling the System or you can meet with a STRS representative in your area and obtain an estimate, an application and information about the retirement process. Forms are also available on-line at www.nystrs.org.
