How many state prisons does the Department of Correctional Services operate and where are they located?

 The Department currently operates 70 prisons plus one drug treatment campus. They house approximately 70,000 offenders. Each offender was sentenced to a minimum sentence of at least one year. Offenders sentenced to less than a year serve their sentences in county jails. The Department maintains a publicly accessible listing of the names, addresses and telephone numbers of all of its 71 facilities.
