If I move to NYS, how do I get a NYS driver license and a vehicle registration?

 Within 30 days after you become a resident of NYS, you must exchange your driver license and vehicle registration from another location for a NYS driver license and vehicle registration. If you are not a resident of NYS, you are not required to exchange your driver license or vehicle registration.
