How do I challenge actions or decisions by a school board or a school administrator?

 Any person who wishes to challange an action taken at a school district meeting or by school authorities may appeal to the Commissioner of Education pursuant to Education Law §310 for a review of such action.

Bound volumes of the Education Law can be found in public or law school libraries, the State Library, and some local public libraries. You may also view the Education Law online.
