I owned a sizable piece of land. How do I manage the plot so that wild turkeys would be abundant to assure good hunting?

 Turkeys in the Northeast have three critical habitat needs : 1) good nesting habitat, 2) good brood rearing habitat and 3) a good winter food source. Your plot should be one-half wooded, one quarter abandoned fields and one quarter active agriculture to attract wild turkeys.
