What is acid rain and where can I get information about it?
Acid rain is the rainfall containing sulfuric and nitric acid. These acids are the result of combustion of fossil fuels such as coal, oil and natural gas. The main sources of this form of air contamination are power plants, automobiles and other vehicles.
