 The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation maintains and updates a trail advisory web page, as well as web pages on avalanche preparedness and safety rules for hikers and campers. Trail conditions and weather conditions can change quickly. For the most up-to-date information, please contact the regional DEC office that oversees the area where you are planning to hike or camp.
